Over one night, a doctor moves between the hospital’s sterile lights and the city’s shadows.
She numbs people for a living - taking away pain, taking away feeling - until a buried question catches up with her: has she lost her own sense of warmth and touch?
Between a patient hovering at the edge of life and strangers adrift in the dark, the lines between rescuer and rescued dissolve. She fights to save a life - but her own awakening is the battle she cannot ignore.
